![]() Lethbridge The College is located at the south end of the city resting on Southern Alberta’s majestic coulees, overlooking the Oldman River and the Rocky Mountains to the west. Lethbridge has a population of over 80 000, and is the service centre of Southern Alberta. It can be reached by air, with daily 30-minute flights from Calgary, Alberta to the Lethbridge Airport, or you may wish to rent a car or take a bus for the two-hour drive south from Calgary. Either way, the trip is unforgettable, with mountains and rolling hills to the west, and waving wheat fields to the east. Lethbridge offers everything of a much larger city including shopping malls, live theatre, symphony orchestra, nightclubs and much more. Warm westerly winds called chinooks create warm summers and mild winters, so the climate is temperate by Canadian standards. Adventurous newcomers to Lethbridge are but a short distance from Rocky Mountain national parks and ski resorts, two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and an abundance of natural scenery. ![]() Student Reviews
