Cheney

The state of Washington is located in an area known as the Pacific Northwest – a safe, clean, friendly place to study and live. The city of Spokane, a metropolotan area with a population of 300,000, is located 24 kilometers from EWU's main campus in the town of Cheney. The population of Cheney is 9,855. Fifty-one buildings on 300 acres muke up the main campus. There is easy bus service between Cheney and Spokane. Spokane International Airport, 20 minutes from Spokane and Cheney, serves the travel needs of international and domestic travelers.
