Note

IELC is only authorized to enroll nonimmigrant students and issue the necessary paperwork (I-20s) needed when applying for an F-1 Student Visa to attend the language program. However, if you wish to apply for a "Conditional Letter of Admission" from CSUB, you will also need to mail in a completed application package for the university with your IELC application. Once received, your university application will be sent to the appropriate department with a request for the conditional letter. You may obtain a university application from the International Student Webpage at http://www.csub.edu/isp/.

The faculty of CSUB strongly recommends that international students study in the Intensive English Language Center (IELC) program before beginning their university course work. Graduates of the IELC program have no difficultly in maintaining average to above average grades in their university courses.
