![]() St. Petersburg Though the city of St. Petersburg is only 300 years old, it has already experienced a more turbulent history than many cities will see in a millennium. The "fluttering coat of history" has swept St.Petersburg through exciting and explosive times. The beauty of St. Petersburg lies in the unique harmony of its architecture - baroque, classicist, eclectic and art nouveau, all enhanced magnificently by the ever-present water. No other city in the world possesses an intact historical city centre on the scale of St.Petersburg. And no city struggles more to hold on to its priceless inheritance. This rich history makes everything in Petersburg extraordinary. In 2003 St.Petersburg celebrated the 300th anniversary with its restored and renewed face. One should come to the city to experience its unique atmosphere with white nights (in summer), bridges raising over the Neva river, Russian ballet, music festivals, various exhibitions and concerts, numerous theatre performances, etc. ![]() Student Reviews

Our school in St. Petersburg is situated in the historic city centre, close to the well-known Nevsky Prospekt and about 300 metres from the nearest metro station (Ligovsky Prospekt) in a central but quiet neighbourhood. The school occupies the top floor (4th floor, no lift) of a 19th century building. We operate 16 classrooms (12 suitable for groups, 4 for mini-groups or individuals) all year round. Facilities include a self-study centre (library, DVDs, CD-ROM course materials, etc.), a small cafeteria and students’ lounge, internet workstations (free of charge)and a wireless zone for notebook users (also free). The school also features a booking desk for excursions, theatre tickets and onward travel. This year we opened additional premises. The new Executive Centre in St.Petersburg features three fully-equipped classrooms and a cosy lounge (including kitchen facilities, free cold/hot drinks and WiFi).
