LAL Torbay was founded in 1984 and our purpose built school provides an excellent language learning environment. LAL London
LAL London launches in January 2010 as a brand new school for adults (18+). It will be based in a modern building in Twickenham, in the Royal Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames

Kelly College (9-16)
LAL Summer Schools runs a residential summer school English programme at Kelly College in Tavistock.
The school offers a traditional setting with modern classroom facilities in which we teach a General English programme. Residential accommodation is in five supervised accommodation houses. A full range of activities and excursions completes a programme that offers serious study and great fun.
Taunton School (11-17)
LAL Summer Schools run a residential programme of English for young learners at Taunton School throughout the summer. This fabulous independent school with its superb facilities was founded in 1847. Taunton School has everything! Behind its magnificent Gothic architecture, Taunton offers highly modern facilities including well-appointed school residences.
St Swithun's (11-17)
LAL Summer Schools runs a residential English programme at St Swithun's in Winchester. St Swithun's is the perfect location for students, easy to get to, just an hour from London and other must-see destinations such as Stonehenge, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club and the university city of Oxford, and the school is very close to the sea and the Isle of Wight.

About Torbay
Torbay is a traditional English seaside resort, but it sometimes feels more like the south of France. The resort is known as the English Riviera because of its excellent climate, sub tropical plants, elegant buildings and harbours full of luxury yachts.The three Riviera towns of Torquay,Paignton and Brixham surround the sheltered Bay which forms an ideal sun trap and boasts many Blue Flag beaches.

Host Family (up to 45 mins from school)
Staying with an English host family is a great way to discover the English way of life, and practise the English you learn in your lessons. We carefully select our host families and try to find a home which is just right for you in either single or shared rooms.
Hunters Lodge (10 mins from school)
Hunters Lodge is our budget residence for 50 adults. We offer a selection of sea-view or standard rooms on room-only basis. There
is a shared kitchen, lounge and TV room as well as a garden. There is wireless internet access on the ground floor.
Summerhill Hotel (10 mins from school)
This family-run hotel overlooks the pleasure beach of Goodrington Sands. It offers quality service and a relaxing atmosphere,
with comfortable bedrooms, lounge, licensed bar and restaurant. Bed and breakfast or half board (with an evening meal) are available.
