The Peralta Colleges consists of four colleges - Berkeley City College, College of Alameda, Laney College, and Merritt College.

More than 800 students transfer annually from the Peralta Colleges to the University of California and California State University systems – such as UC Berkeley, UC Davis and UCLA – as well as other universities like Stanford, MIT, Yale, Harvard and NYU. Notably, we are ranked in the top five for transfers to UC Berkeley.
